It is just a 2-hour drive to the beautiful Hanseatic City of Hamburg. And the city is always worth a visit – or two. Because with such a wide variety of sights and attractions, it is hard to even know where to start. How about a side trip to the Speicherstadt old warehouse district, with its impressive Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Concert Hall)? You can also visit it even if you don’t have concert tickets – and it is certainly worthwhile. A one-of-a-kind view over the harbour is guaranteed!
Also recommended: a walk along the river Elbe, a coffee along the shore of the Alster, or a city tour on one of the double decker buses – you can explore the city and get off anywhere that strikes your fancy!
